Resource Planning at SkyBlue

SkyBlue has completed a 6-month project to bring all data about SkyBlue associates into one system, so that people can be deployed more efficiently according to their skills, experience and location. The result is better communication between businesses and a greater awareness of opportunities for us to serve our customers.

With around 500 associates going through the books week by week, we now have a clear, nationwide view of who is working where, when they are likely to be available for redeployment and what they are qualified to do. This helps us forecast both strategically (often in partnership with customers) and tactically, and enables us to meet customer needs more cost-effectively and rapidly.
