SkyBlue’s international team has successfully piloted the use of videoconferencing technology in South Africa, making overseas recruitment a viable option for customers seeking only a few candidates. We evaluated the technology, then tested its effectiveness and acceptability to customers and candidates, conducting several interviews by live video link.

The result is a technique that combines face to face preliminary interviews by our recruitment experts in South Africa, with live video calls to the client’s own facilities or one of 30 SkyBlue sites UK-wide. By integrating videoconferencing into the total SkyBlue package, at no extra cost to the customer, we are making recruitment overseas simple and cost-effective.
