Training & Competency

 

 

SkyBlue people have an exceptional track record when it comes to delivering safety, quality and efficiency on the railways.

All SkyBlue Rail people have a minimum of PTS, and the majority have further qualifications, from crane controllers to ES as well as being competent in the use of various small tools used within the industry.

During the course of 2007 it is the intention to up-skill the SkyBlue workforce by commencing an NVQ program for all track workers, supervisors and managers.

All track workers will progress to a minimum NVQ level 2 in Railway Engineering.

All supervisors and managers will aspire to NVQ level 3 linked to a Track Charge Man Training course.
