What are we doing about our safety performance?

Part of the Carillion Group, we are fully aware of our clients expectation so we pride ourselves on doing more:

• We created a base line assessment of our management procedures and actions in 2006 using an established proven method (AC2E  Model) We will reassess throughout 2007

• We have adopted Act Now policy    

• We have implemented BBS throughout our business

• We have set a new 2007 schedule of Work force engagement sessions

• We are continually striving to Improve our worker skill base

We are committed to a 20% improvement on the number of accidents over 2006 and 0.25 Accident Frequency Rate.

All SkyBlue Rail staff will arrive at site fully kitted out with PPE, this will comprise of  orange reflective jacket and trousers or similar, ensuring complete covering head to foot, as well as the compulsory wearing of helmets gloves and eye protection.
