Our entire branch network has now entered into Local Employment Partnerships with Jobcentre Plus providing local candidates from diverse backgrounds. This means that SkyBlue will be working in alliance with Jobcentre Plus to help those disadvantaged / under represented in the communities we serve to find new opportunities within the local community.

SkyBlue aims to maximise training and employment opportunities for local people by developing Local Employment Partnerships training this could include all or some of the following measures:

  • offering 2 -4 week work trials
  • offering a target number of placements for new participants
  • working with Jobcentre Plus and the Learning Skills Council on the design of pre-employment training. 
  • work in partnership with Jobcentre Plus to review our application processes to ensure that those disadvantaged/under
