With a large proportion of our workers out on potentially hazardous assignments SkyBlue offers more in terms of training and competency and a total commitment to safety and wellbeing on all of our sites, including rail, construction and highways.

Aspiring to set training standards across the recruitment industry, we take a progressive and innovative approach and as a result of introducing a new training programme, have cut rail manual handling related injuries by almost half.

As a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and possessing Investors in People status, we lead the way in the growth & development of temporary and permanent staff, leading to enhanced labour performance for all our clients.

SkyBlue allocate a carefully considered budget to ensure our workers are well trained and that their development is on-going, with the needs of the industry as a key driver.

A dedicated IT system continuously monitors and assesses individuals’ performance to ensure the best-qualified people are available whenever and wherever they are needed.

SkyBlue also aim to deliver an NVQ fast tracking service for experienced construction workers via a one day skills testing ‘assessment route’.

Not forgetting the next generation of workers, SkyBlue are active members of the Construction Industry Training Board’s (CITB) Ambassadors programme visiting schools, events and workshops to encourage youngsters to consider a career in the construction industry.
