Agency Workers Directive (AWD)
Fostering equal treatment to temporary agency workers

The REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) took the lead on this recruitment issue back in 2008 and set up the Agency Workers Commission as a result. The Commission has been working hard to give temporary agency workers equal treatment.

Equality Bill
The government has published the Equality Bill, which will replace all existing discrimination legislation, including all the employment discrimination statutes and those which cover the provision of goods and services.
